Metal Storm, DSTO and Airtronic USA, Inc. have collaborated to develop the Managed Lethality Grenade Launcher System (MLGLS). This system attaches to a conventional M203 grenade launcher and enables it to fire less-lethal ammunition at different muzzle velocities depending on the range to the target. This results in the safer and more effective deployment of non-lethal force over greater ranges, without having to carry many different ammunition natures.
